Born in Honduras, Isabella Lovestory moved to the USA and then to Canada at the age of 17. Today, she has established herself as a pioneering force at the interface of pop and reggaeton and has become an icon of experimental music. In 2022, she made a name for herself with her debut "Amor Hardcore", which the music magazine Pitchfork described as "playful, maximalist and flirtatious to the core". On her new album "Vanity", Isabella breaks out of the reggaeton corset and expands her sound considerably: influences from dark electro, Spanish trap and 2000s pop can be found here as well as British New Romantic echoes and K-pop through to strong female role models such as Lady Gaga.
