Isartrail Runners - Auswärtsspiel | ATR by LOWA

Are you ready for an away game with the Munich Isartrail Runners by LOWA? On Saturday, July 5 , we're getting out of the city and exploring the trails around the Grasleitenkopf in Lenggries together!

The choice is yours: the highlight is either the 1,400 meter high Grasleitenkopf or the 200 meter higher Seekarkreuz! And best of all: in between there's a well-deserved break at the Lenggrieser Hütte for refreshment!

WHERE?

Themeeting point for the Isartrail Runners' away game is at the Hohenburg castle ruins'hiking parking lot in 83661 Lenggries.

WITH WHOM?

LOWA athlete Sandra Saitner will be the coach.
She will be accompanying the Isartrail Runners as a running coach, bringing a variety of exercises (e.g. running ABC, stabilization units etc.) to the running sessions and will be on hand to give you helpful tips on all aspects of running and trail running. In addition, the guys from Querfeldzwei will accompany us with their camera and share their expert knowledge about trail running and the region.

WHICH SHOES?

You can bring your own trail running shoes. However, you can also take advantage of the opportunity to borrow free test shoes from our ATR by LOWA trail running range for the Community Run. Shoes will be handed out on site at 9:45 am.

WHICH ROUTE & DISTANCE?

After a group photo, you will set off at 11:00 am at a moderate pace on the trails around the Grasleitenkopf. The route covers a total of around 16 kilometers and 900 vertical meters. The focus is clearly on having fun running together. Sandra makes sure that the pace is manageable for all trail runners. You can download the GPX track here.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

A good mood and enjoyment of trail running in a group. You should also have a basic level of stamina so that 13 kilometers on the trails won't scare you off. Please only take part in the run if you feel fit *.
