IST IST - Europe 2025

Since their formation in 2014, Manchester's IST IST have established themselves as an integral part of the modern post-punk scene. Known for their dark, atmospheric music, the band combines driving bass lines, striking guitar riffs and haunting vocals. Their sound aesthetic is reminiscent of the legendary post-punk bands of the 80s, but is complemented by a fresh, contemporary approach.

The band began their career with various gigs before gaining wider recognition with their first EPs, Spinning Rooms (2018) and Everything Is Different Now (2019). Their debut album Architecture (2020) reached number 3 in the UK Independent Albums Chart and laid the foundations for their success.

In 2025, IST IST will embark on a major European tour with their new album"Light A Bigger Fire", bringing numerous cities to life. Leipzig is also on the tour schedule and can look forward to an unforgettable concert that captures the essence of modern post-punk.
