It Only Took A Kiss - Musicaltime mit Anke und Gaines

As the musical's dream couple, Anke Sieloff and Gaines Hall have long since sung, played and danced their way into the hearts of audiences. "Crazy for You", "Anything Goes" and "Silk Stockings" are titles from unforgettable MiR productions in which they were celebrated. Now they present a program of musical hits from George Gershwin to Cole Porter and Jule Styne to Stephen Sondheim, whereby the boundaries to stylistically related swing numbers are fluid. The title song "It Only Took a Kiss", for example, comes from the American neo-swing big band Voodoo Daddy. The program, which emerged from a charity gala of the Musiktheater im Revier Foundation, will feature further surprise guests for the new edition. Accompanied by an eight-piece band under the musical direction of Patricia Martin, they will enrich the program with their personal favourite numbers. "Sold out and celebrated", was the headline of the WAZ newspaper at the time, stating "Goosebump moments of a special kind". Once again, you can look forward to an evening full of nostalgic charm and rousing musical entertainment.
