It’s a groovy Thing #3 – Leipzigs finest in Organic Grooves

It's that time again!
The 3rd edition of our festival "It's a Groovy Thing" is coming up.

On Saturday, 23/08/2025 from 3 pm, the Who's Who of Leipzig's DJ scene will be showing what musical relevance still exists in Leipzig's producer and club landscape alongside the straight bass drum at the Duqo Club. In addition to the veteran Leipzig protagonists Duktus (Outrun Rec., Blaq Numbers Rec.), John Reed (SohoRadioLondon with his weekly radio show "Letters from Leipzig"), DJ Olsen & Señior Kiez (Polyester Club) and Ya Ya Wickle (Black - Shack - Track) - we have been able to win over Xubii (Vary Records DJ Team, Music of Color), Pepe (45s only BornToShineRecords), DJ Halloumi (Nest-Tarmac) and DJ F.D.M. (My Grooves) for our festival.

They all share a love of vinyl and organic grooves. The musical spectrum ranges from funk to soul, from boogie to disco, from cumbia to samba, from garage to boogaloo, from rhythm n' blues to jazz funk. And much more!

The festival has a day slot from 3pm to 10pm in the Duqo garden and immediately afterwards the night slot from 10pm to 4am in the Duqo Club. During the day there will be cool drinks and African catering.
