In the organizer's words:

The collective "die brachiale - Labor für Dialoge im Zwischenraum" is expanding nachtspeicher23 into the urban space as part of their exhibition "- j -_ u _- m -_ p _- into the strange". Playing fields on the street will show the way. The two artists will examine wasteland and empty spaces in a radius of up to three kilometers around the off-gallery. They evaluate these non-places as potential areas in the urban field of tension between social and commercial use. The temporary marking draws new attention to the wastelands, creating scope for thought. The collective undertakes excursions and playfully traces the attraction of these urban interstices.

The collective was founded in 2021 by Mirja Schellbach and Berit Kröner in Lübeck. The artists take the concept of the exhibition as a playing field for experiments quite literally. They have already moved between pong ping, basketball and other types of games. They combine art and physical play to invite people to experience and think together.
