Passion and a spirited nature are the trademarks of the Berlin-born Afro-German. Jacqueline Boulanger lives in Rostock and is often referred to as "the jazz voice of the north". The gifted singer celebrates modern mainstream jazz with brilliant musicians from the German jazz scene. The band presents their current CD/LP "Reach Out", songs by Cole Porter or Michel Legrand, which sound convincingly different with groovy arrangements by pianist Tino Derado and are simply fun.
