Take some jazz, a touch of chanson and a pinch of heartache, spice it all up with lots of pepper, soul in the blood and the odd drop of whiskey in the glass. Plus the charm of the 1920s, pure nightlife, wicked and glamorous. As a full steam ahead Berliner, Jade Pearl Baker knows how to make her audience laugh and rave with her inimitable flippant and playful manner - she is the uncrowned head of our nocturnal capital.

Musically, she is just as much at home in jazz clubs as in Weimar cabaret, in burlesque and on Broadway and in Berlin's Tingeltangel: with her unmistakable voice, she finds the right dress for every song and the right hairpiece for every note with her smoky timbre: this evening with Jade Pearl Baker and live band - finally a show that delivers what it promises. Lots of voice, edge and oomph. By the way ... the evening is the start of a new show format with which the untamed, musical gem in high heels will make the stage of the Pfefferberg Theater sparkle without restraint.
