Giovanni Jano, better known as JAEL, is a Moluccan recording artist, producer, DJ and singer from the Netherlands. Growing up in a musical home, surrounded by Moluccan folk music as well as gospel, soul, funk and Japanese funk, he combines these diverse influences with garage, jungle, drum'n'bass and electronic bass music to create club nights that always tell an individual musical story. The combination of these different genres, paired with an excellent feel for flow and crowd, creates driving grooves, surprising twists and turns and an intense, danceable experience. In short: JAEL is a cross-genre visionary whose sound is as diverse as the cultures that shape it.
