Jahreszeitenfeuer - Großes Feuer im Schlosspark Freudenberg

In Central Europe, we are blessed with four equally important, clearly distinguishable seasons. Four days in the course of the year mark the transitions between winter and spring, spring and summer, summer and fall, fall and winter. For thousands of years, we humans have celebrated these turning points of the year, which are determined by the course of the sun. The eternal change between darkness and light, the dark and light seasons, the longest day of summer and the never-ending night of winter. For over 20 years, we have been celebrating the change of light with four large bonfires. They are always lit at the transition from day to night. Thousands of sparks celebrate with us the eternal course of becoming and passing away.

We meet on all dates about an hour beforehand to collect wood together in the castle park and light the fire at sunset.
Food and drink will be provided. Children and people with an annual pass are invited and do not need an extra ticket.
