The preconception that streamers, TikTok stars and YouTubers make music without any talent at some point, as a pure cash grab, is quite persistent. But this is about Twitch streamer, YouTuber and singer-songwriter James Marriott, and he easily refutes such prejudices with a guitar in his hand. His current singles "Toothache" and "I Don't Want To Live Like This", which were both released in 2025 and have already reached a few million streams, are proof of this. If you then also play his debut album "Are We There Yet" and the hits "Grapes" and "Car Lights" - both from the 2022 debut EP "Bitter Tongues" - all doubts should be gone.
