Jan Costin Wagner's storytelling moves between poetry, suspense and psychological depths.

This is also the case in Eden: Markus fulfills his daughter's dream with concert tickets for her favourite singer. But after a suicide bombing, Sofie is also among the victims. The once happy couple lose their balance. Meanwhile, the social situation comes to a head and the family is forced to watch as their misfortune is politically instrumentalized. In a moment of deepest despair, Markus remembers his daughter's vitality and decides not to give up. He seeks a conversation and even decides to visit the murderer's family.

Jan Costin Wagner is a writer and musician living near Frankfurt am Main. His novels about the Finnish investigator Kimmo Joentaa have won numerous awards.

Katja Weise has been working as an author and presenter for the radio station NDR Kultur since 2003.
