Tarmo Peltokoski is a remarkable young conductor who is making his Konzerthaus debut and who is pursuing a career in the fast lane: Born in 2000, the Finn has been Principal Guest Conductor of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen since 2022 and of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra from the start of the 2023/24 season. Next to him, pianist Jan Lisiecki, five years his senior, already seems like an old hand - the former "Junge Wilde" in Dortmund is certainly an old acquaintance. Together they will devote this afternoon to classics by Beethoven and Mozart.
