Jan Philipp Zymny presents his new book and reads classics on request. We kindly ask you to only request texts written by the author himself. However, for a contribution towards expenses of €10, he will also read texts that you bring with you (maximum one page DIN A4, font size 12).

What is it about?

In the period from 2020 to 2023, the unmistakable spirit of the Bochum-based author and comedian has once again produced a number of stage texts, short stories and essays that should be collected in a book and read aloud. The former has already been done, for the latter you are cordially asked for your cooperation. Please arrive at the above-mentioned venue at the date and time with a valid admission ticket. Within two hours, Jan Philipp Zymny will personally read to you and other interested parties. There will be a break after one hour. If you feel the need to laugh or clap during the event, you are expressly invited to do so.

What can I expect?

A fun evening of reading with a humor you won't get anywhere else. If you find ordinary comedy too silly, philosophy too exhausting and cabaret too boring, then you've come to the right place. They say there's a fine line between genius and madness. Be there when someone walks this tightrope.

Maybe you already know Jan Philipp Zymny, then you can expect a great mixture of texts from his solo programs "How To Human?", "surREALITÄT" and "Quantum Healing through Stand Up Comedy", previously unpublished and well-known old numbers such as "AWESOME!", "Der Taxi-Dialog", "Die Telefonkette", "Ein Mantel voll Spargel" and many more.
