Jan Plewka is one of the most distinctive and multifaceted voices in the German music scene. As the frontman of the band Selig, which has been one of the most influential German-language rock formations since the 1990s, he became known to a wide audience - powerful, emotional, unmistakable. But Plewka is much more than just a rock musician: he is a singer, actor, performer - an artist who reinvents himself with every project without losing himself. In addition to his work with Selig, he has been inspiring audiences with solo and stage projects for many years.

Jan Plewka took five years to create his new album: "Eine Art Soloalbum", which entered the German album charts at number 44 in the week of its release, is a blend of music and art.

After the sold-out release concert at Kampnagel in Hamburg, with which Jan Plewka celebrated the launch of his album "Eine Art Soloalbum" on the day of its release, he will go on a major album tour in April 2026. He will celebrate the end of the tour on April 22, 2026 at Kampnagel.
