Something to celebrate: in 1980, the idea for the "Ilz River Gang" was born in a house on the Ilz in Passau. The band's history is as colorful as life itself. The line-up has changed again and again over the years. However, the unconditional love of Dixieland jazz and the high musical standard of the "Gang" have remained constant to this day.

Elegant, stylistically confident and unagitated, the six young-at-heart musicians invite you to dream of the Mississippi with "Royal Garden Blues" and go on a nostalgic journey with evergreens such as "When You're Smiling", "Creole Love Call", "Sentimental Journey" or "Ice Cream".

At the Passau Jazz Festival, they are now celebrating themselves and their music with the big Ilz River Gang anniversary concert. The audience can look forward to an energetic evening. Gorgeous vocals and strong hot solos included!
