Artur Rutkevich, born in Kaliningrad in 1999, began studying jazz music at the age of 16 at the Rachmaninov Music College. After studying in Russia, his journey took him to Germany, where he first studied jazz saxophone in Rostock and, since 2020, at the Jazz Institute Berlin.
The Artur Rutkevich Quartet has found its artistic home in Berlin's vibrant jazz clubs and plays at the Schlot, Zig Zag Club and b-flat. In addition, the members of the quartet regularly perform at jazz festivals, not only throughout Europe, but also in many cities around the world, delighting audiences with their captivating arrangements.
