The Pleiades Quartet plays excerpts from the Pleiades Suite
Driving grooves, colorful harmonies and sensitive melodic passages characterize the Pleiades Suite, a composition by the Berlin-based Austrian trumpeter and flugelhorn player Paul Schwingenschlögl. The programmatic work, commissioned by the Viennese musician and producer Ronnie Rocket, is based on the constellation of the Pleiades and the legends of Greek mythology that surround the star.
