Original songs. Exciting music. Radically personal lyrics about the politics of the private sphere. The music confidently unites different worlds - multi-layered like jazz, passionate like soul and blues, catchy like pop. The lyrics dare to go deep - they are about society and the battle of the sexes, fairness and family, emotion and emancipation, solidarity and despair, sex and love.
The Hamburg trio celebrates handmade songs in complex arrangements. Andreas Bösch with multi-faceted organ and piano sounds, Philipp Kranz with dynamic beats and Sasa Jansen with an expressive voice full of feminine energy.
Purpura makes music to swing along to and to think about. Casual grooves with intense lyrics, rousingly performed: music for adults.
