In the organizer's words:
Four times a year, the jazz sounds of musicians from the Karlsruhe Jazz Club are combined with literary texts read by actors from the ensemble. Accompanying literature with jazz creates a very special atmosphere: we experience how the gripping narrative art of Julio Cortázar, the extraordinary life story of Nica "The Jazz Baroness" Rotschild or Haruki Murakami's love stories come to life in dialog with classical jazz, bepop, cool jazz and fusion.
