Jazz Open 2026: Diana Krall

Diana Krall is an internationally acclaimed jazz singer, songwriter and pianist whose eight albums have debuted directly at the top of the Billboard Jazz Charts. Her career includes two Grammy® Awards, ten Juno® Awards and numerous gold and platinum awards. Born in Canada, she began playing the piano at an early age and developed her passion for jazz under the tutelage of her father. After studying at Berklee College of Music and meeting jazz greats such as Ray Brown, she launched her career with albums such as Stepping Out and Only Trust Your Heart.

Her international breakthrough came in 1999 with When I Look in Your Eyes, which topped the jazz charts for 52 weeks, won Grammy awards and achieved platinum status. This was followed by successful albums such as The Look of Love, Turn Up The Quiet and the collaboration with Tony Bennett, Love Is Here to Stay. Her most recent album, This Dream Of You , honors her 25-year collaboration with producer Tommy LiPuma.

Krall's unique art transcends any single musical style and has made her one of the most recognizable artists of our time. As the New York Times recently noted, Krall has "a voice at once cool and seductive, deployed with rhythmic sophistication."
