From July 1 to 12, 2026, Stuttgart will once again be transformed into a meeting place for international jazz, blues, soul and pop greats. The renowned festival is taking place for the 32nd time and attracts artists from all over the world to the Baden-Württemberg metropolis.

The heart of the festival is the large stage in the courtyard of honor of the New Palace, but numerous other concert venues are spread throughout the city: In the SpardaWelt, in the atmospheric courtyard of the Old Palace and in the BIX Jazzclub, which will host top-class club concerts for almost the entire duration of the festival.

The range of freely accessible concerts is also impressive. Visitors can enjoy music free of charge on several open stages, including in the StadtPalais, on Schlossplatz in the music pavilion, in St. Eberhard's Cathedral, in the art museum, in the Dorotheen Quartier and in the city library.

In 2026, the festival will once again bring international stars to Stuttgart: this year, the Jazz Open will be opened on Schlossplatz by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who will delight their audience with songs from four decades of band history. Other highlights include pop icon Katy Perry, rock legend Lenny Kravitz and electro-pop pioneer Moby, who will perform the grand festival finale on July 12.

With a mixture of exclusive concerts, urban festival atmosphere and musical diversity, the Jazz Open Stuttgart is one of the most important music events of the German summer.
