In the organizer's words:

It's business as usual in the trade fair city in 2026: the year begins with a jazz club concert by the HMT Big Band! Led by the incomparable arranger and composer Rolf von Nordenskjöld for 25 years now, the band will once again be presenting a colorful bouquet of evergreens and long-buried insider tips this year.

The current program includes pieces by Don Ellis, Charles Mingus, Thad Jones and Dizzy Gillespie. There are also several compositions by Nordenskjölds and students. A particular highlight is the piece "Move Your Hand", which is sung by Daniel Seif and gives the current program its title.

However, if you don't have the patience to wait until the next HMT Big Band concert, you can find a remedy in the meantime: Because the two concerts will be recorded and released as an LP afterwards. Well then, happy swinging!
