Nils Wogram is one of Europe's most renowned trombonists and professor of jazz trombone at the Lucerne School of Music. He can be heard on at least 30 albums as a bandleader and has been running his own label "nwog records" since 2010. Born in Braunschweig, he has been returning to his native northern Germany for the Dr. Langner Jazzmaster once a year for many years now to devote himself to the subject of band leadership and band development with the master's students at the HfMT Hamburg. On two consecutive days, the students work with Nils Wogram on the "band" organism and how it can function in terms of structure and content. At the end of the seminar, the students play the opener of a JazzHall jam session with the material developed in the block seminar. You can look forward to an inspiring opener and one of the rare and versatile JazzHall jam sessions.
