In the tradition of Django Reinhardt, Giovanni Weiss (guitar), Benjamin Wiegand (violin) and Giorgi Kiknadze (bass) present an evening full of passion, virtuosity and swinging melodies.

The trio not only dedicates itself to the timeless classics of gipsy swing, but also brings its own compositions to the stage, which are deeply rooted in tradition and at the same time develop a fresh, modern sound. Giovanni Weiss is regarded as one of the leading representatives of gipsy jazz in Germany and, together with his fellow musicians, combines the joy of playing with technical skill.

This Jazzmeile is an evening for all fans of gipsy swing, for the curious and jazz lovers - a feast for the heart and ears in the Kulturladen St. Georg.
