The sound they create together is just as multifaceted as the individual band members' respective agendas. With their music, Jazzodrom create a harmonious synthesis of the old traditions of soul jazz and the diverse influences that the musicians draw from their heterogeneous artistic realities. Fragile motifs meet urban groove, velvety hooks meet uncompromising breakbeat and smoky acoustic sounds meet modern electronics. The band's openness to other genres is also evident in their collaboration with British soul singer Pete Simpson, who adds aspects of pop to the spectrum Jazzodrom playfully expand their boundaries and make music that simply touches. Live, the band stands for performances that are as subtle as they are highly energetic.
