On Tuesday, July 8, the man-machine Kraftwerk will perform on Schlossplatz for the second time since 2018 - the 2018 concert with a live link to Alexander Gerst on the ISS won the LEA Award for Live Concert of the Year.

By combining electronic music, computer animations and performance art, Kraftwerk concerts are a true "Gesamtkunstwerk".
In the mid-1970s, Kraftwerk gained international recognition for their revolutionary electronic "soundscapes" and their musical experiments with robotics and other technical innovations. With their visions of the future, Kraftwerk created the soundtrack for the digital age of the 21st century.
In 2014, electro pioneer Ralf Hütter and his former partner were honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. And in October 2021, Kraftwerk were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
