A Look Beyond the Surface

The group exhibitionBeyond the Visiblebrings together seven artistic approaches that explore the hidden layers of our own perception. They demonstrate that reality is strongly shaped by memories and experiences. The starting point is the moment after the first glance. What remains when we look beyond familiar surfaces?

The exhibition explores a wide variety of forms of the visible. The materials used carry memories and preserve cultural traces; colors evoke their own tangible emotional world; and the body becomes an expression of individual identity. This gives rise to visual worlds that extend beyond the obvious. The works open up new perspectives on seemingly familiar motifs and encourage viewers to question their own perceptions. The exhibition invites visitors to look beyond what is immediately visible and discover new perspectives.
