Pianist Jermaine Landsberger, a musical citizen of the world, is one of the most innovative voices on the European gypsy jazz scene today. His powerful, melodic playing combines joy of playing, intensity and emotional depth - a mixture that captivates the audience from the very first note.

Landsberger combines the sound of modern jazz piano with audible elements of gypsy music, creating an individual trio sound.

For this concert, he has added an outstanding guest to his trio: the Hungarian Roma saxophonist Tony Lakatos, who has been setting international standards for decades. With his warm, voluminous sound, technical brilliance and musical maturity, Lakatos is one of the most important European jazz saxophonists.
