Horst JESUÉ Wegener homecoming concert with aftershow

On Friday, February 13, 2026, JESUÉ returns to Wuppertal for a special release concert. The city where it all began will become the venue for a conscious homecoming.

The concert will take place in the former telecommunications office, a landmark off-location in the city that has been empty for many years and will be reopened to the public for the first time for this evening. The venue is more than just a backdrop. It is part of the visual world of "Tränen mit Champagner" and already appears in the music video for the EP.

Under his real name Horst Jesué Wegener, the artist was present in Wuppertal for years with his former project Horst Wegener and made his mark on the local music scene. With sold-out concerts and hundreds of tickets sold, he was one of the city's well-known voices. After this phase, he deliberately put the project aside and shifted his artistic focus to Berlin.

There he developed music that sounds more international than before. Produced by prod. Erol, the EP combines a modern hip hop sound with striking brass sections and Latin American influences. Spanish vocabulary and rhythmic references flow naturally into the songs and shape their expression. "Tränen mit Champagner" marks the first solo show in Wuppertal under the name JESUÉ and the beginning of a new chapter.

"Tränen mit Champagner" is not a nostalgic look back, but the result of a development outside Wuppertal that is now being brought back to the city. In a deliberately reduced acoustic set, accompanied by Julius Krämer on guitar, closeness is created between artist, music and audience.

This will be followed by an after-show party with DJ Smochi, long-time friend and tour DJ. A joint finale to the release weekend.
