Joasihno are back! Adieu Tristesse e.V. presents special music in special surroundings

Joasihno have been constantly changing since their formation in 2009. Already on stage at the last BayWa event in Crailsheim in 2014, in 2016 in the youth center in a completely new musical guise and in 2026 with a fresh album in their luggage in a culturally still unplayed location in the middle of the city center: on March 6th in the former Sonnenstudio in Gartenstraße (opposite Pizzeria Roma).

Joasihno have been moving freely through time and space with experimental DIY recordings since 2009 and are now returning with their fourth album "Spots".

The southern German experimental pop duo Joasihno - consisting of founder and solo artist Cico Beck (The Notwist, Aloa Input, Spirit Fest) and drummer/composer Nico Sierig (Instrument, Fehler Kuti) - seem to know exactly when it's time to shine. Since their beginnings, they've been unconventionally experimenting with different genres and working at their own pace, mostly in their own niche. But almost a decade on from their last album "Meshes" (which came with a legion of tiny musical robots), it's high time they conquered further ground and carved out even more niches between lo- and sci-fi, retro-electronic and contemporary classical. Inspired by artists as diverse as Reich, Riley and Ryuichi, múm, Meek and Moondog and with allusions to other experimental duos (e.g. The Books), the duo's fourth album, "Spots", was released by Alien Transistor at the end of 2025.

Lights blink softly while laid-back bass tones hint at the introspective arc of our time. Electronic shapes coalesce and things take off - and soon a majestic

and soon a majestic 8-bit sunrise appears right in front of us. A

constant beat beckons us to a clearing in the forest. In the distance, everything shatters and splinters, but this place is made for hypnosis, dancing and forest spirits. With their "mobile disco", completely built into a suitcase, they make music and show all parts of Joasihno's music: robotic instruments, sound installations, analog synthesizers, world music percussion and laptop music.

Marc E. Moon will set the perfect mood for the evening. Moon. The one-man band led by multi-instrumentalist Marcus Grassl (Aloa Input, Su Yono) rumbles along comfortably, analog field recording sounds flicker and buzz through the room, while the guitars shine with their scratchy twang. When Marc E. Moon wanders between weird folk, krautrock and DIY indie, he gives free rein to his imagination - and bundles his wealth of ideas into a playful, strange sound: eclectic, pleasantly profound and at the same time wonderfully quirky.

After the concert is before the aftershow. SenioreM and El Mare celebrate this with the finest beats for longing dance legs.

Unique musical compositions in new surroundings promise an unusual, memorable evening.
