The piano has accompanied the Dutchman Joep Beving his entire life. This deep connection can be felt in all his pieces and has made him one of the most important representatives of neoclassical music in just a few years.

After forming his first band at the age of 14 and later beginning to study music, it looks as if he will enjoy a classical music education. But his career is anything but typical. Everything turned out differently: he had to abandon his studies due to a wrist injury and ended up in the advertising industry, where he was responsible for music productions. But at the age of 38, his life takes another unexpected turn. His musical journey begins again on his grandmother's piano. His debut album "Solipsism" (2015), which was originally intended for family and friends, became a viral success. He became a sought-after star overnight and was signed by the traditional label Deutsche Grammophon. He became a crowd favorite whose gentle, almost fragile works moved fans around the world to tears.

Several albums followed: "Prehension" (2017), "Conatus" (2018), "Henosis" (2019) and "Hermetism" (2022). In all of them, the artist gradually unfolds his very own world of sound - he defines it as "simple music for complex emotions". This captivating reduction and simplicity is anything but easy, but has become Joep Beving's trademark. For him, music is a living organism that he channels. For him, music is not only heard, but lived. His live shows are the best proof of this: they are brilliant experiences of great serenity, captivating harmony and feather-light depth.

Joep Beving enchants people all over the world with his music, which is almost like a collective meditation. It also opens up spaces of silence and resonance, bringing us back to what really matters: Emotion, memory and humanity.
