Following the successful "Viva Puccini" tour in 2024, Jonas Kaufmann is returning to European concert halls with a new opera program together with Latvian soprano Marina Rebeka: this time, the star tenor and celebrated Verdi specialist is devoting himself entirely to this grand master of Italian opera. With arias, duets and scenes from popular Verdi operas such as "Aida", "Un Ballo in Maschera", "La Forza del Destino", "Otello" and "Don Carlos", he takes the audience into the dramatic, emotional and also burlesque world of the romantic composer. For Jonas Kaufmann, the special thing about Verdi is "a great freedom of interpretation".
