Jonny vom Dahl is a young German artist who is currently taking the next steps in his music career with his EP "Bunte Fahnen", which was released in August 2024.

As the son of a pastor, he has often attracted attention in the Christian scene. The young pop musician knows how to ask critical questions in order to spark a discourse. On TikTok and Instagram, for example, he works with his community to find answers to questions such as "What would Jesus think about homosexuality?".

Coming from this scene, he has therefore dealt intensively with various critical topics relating to the church. Some of his thematic social media videos even make it into the religion lessons of some teachers. The "most casual pastor's son in Germany", as BILD calls him, also incorporates much of this into his art by showing a discreet and contemporary face of the church. Simply different!

Jonny vom Dahl began his career with the TV show "The Voice of Germany" in 2016, where he made it through to the sing-offs. When he took part in the pop course in Hamburg in 2018, Jonny himself recognized his great talent. He manages to visualize the thoughts and stories in his songs through his words.

His talent for bringing stories and themes to life with music did not remain undiscovered for long. Together with producers Peter Hoffmann (Lina, Tokio Hotel, Annett Louisan, Falco) and Jonas Schumann, Jonny vom Dahl released his first album "Sommerstadtgeflüster" in July 2020. Due to the two to three years of coronavirus, this was a comparatively difficult start, but in April 2022 he continued his journey with a new team led by producer Mark Smith and manager Jochen Schuster.
After four single releases in 2024 and an album in 2025, Jonny is on tour with his new songs on "Bunte Fahnen"!
