It was the passion for writing songs that once brought Louisiana native JORDAN DAVIS to Nashville. Since his move to Music City, a lot has changed for the likeable singer/songwriter. The former newcomer has become a successful country hitmaker and award-winning artist. Despite more than four billion streams, his own headlining tour, a Country Music Award for 2022 Song of the Year and six No. 1 singles, one thing has remained unchanged: his love of songwriting. Writing a song that can be played in a coffee shop is one thing, but writing a song that sounds great enough to play well in an arena full of people is something else entirely. DAVIS takes on that challenge. His songs are so catchy musically that they easily grab attention. But they're also profound enough to keep listeners:inside even after multiple listens. In 2019, he was already enthusiastically celebrated in the course of his first shows in Germany. Now he finally returns and will be a guest on 06.02.2024 in Hamburg and on 09.02.2024 in Cologne. He will be supported by the up-and-coming artist ASHLEY COOKE.

In 2018, JORDAN DAVIS releases his debut album "Home State," which features the platinum number one hits "Slow Dance In A Parking Lot," "Take It From Me" and "Singles You Up." That same year, Billboard named him the "Top New Country Artist of 2018" and Country Aircheck/Mediabase named him the "Most Heard New Artist of 2018." In 2019, he is named "Best New Country Artist" at the iHeart Radio Music Awards and just one year later, the self-titled EP follows, including the song "Cool Anymore" featuring pop superstar Julia Michaels.

The EP "Buy Dirt" follows in May 2021, featuring the hit single of the same name with country superstar Luke Bryan. The song reaches #1 on "Hot Country Songs," goes double platinum and is one of the top five most streamed country songs in both 2021 and 2022. Finally, the song is named "Song of the Year" at the "56th Annual CMA Awards." This kind of success leads to high expectations and creates enormous pressure on the artist. DAVIS, however, withstands it. In February 2023, his latest album is released. With "Bluebird Days" the singer/songwriter creates probably his most personal work. He digs deep into his own experiences, offering a wide range of emotions and memories, and ultimately combining them with his signature sound that blends traditional and contemporary genres and styles.

DAVIS believes it's no coincidence that he recorded this album almost exactly ten years after moving to Nashville to launch a music career - with all the thoughts that anniversary triggered. "I had a job as a bartender that didn't really make me happy," he says, "but it kept me in Nashville so I could get up at eight in the morning - after getting home at 1:30 - to write a song for five hours and then go right back to the bar to wash, rinse and repeat all that. If I went back and said to that guy, 'Hey, man, in ten years you're going to have a pretty successful touring schedule, you're going to have four or five number one songs, and you're going to have a CMA song of the year that you co-wrote with your brother.' I would just say, 'Thanks for the optimism, I appreciate it, but it's not going to happen - you're crazy'." "I look back and think about how lucky I've been to meet the people I've met and write songs with the people I get to write songs with. Every once in a while you need a ball thrown your way, and I've been lucky enough to get some of those balls."
