The orchestra "Josef & Friends" is celebrating its 10th anniversary - and invites you to a rousing anniversary concert with numerous musical guests.
Founded by concertmaster Josef Ziga, the ensemble brings together fellow musicians from the Braunschweig State Orchestra and friends. Since 2016, "Josef & Friends" has been enriching the regional and national music scene with extraordinary programs, creative arrangements and a broad repertoire ranging from classical works and film music to Argentine tango, pop and soul. The anniversary concert promises a musical journey in the unmistakable Josef & Friends sound. The audience will experience the ensemble in various formations - from classical orchestra to pop band with various singers. The program features highlights from the past ten years, including "Abba & Symphony", "Der Teufelsgeiger", "Sounds of Hollywood" and many more. The Braunschweig audience will be joined by well-known artists such as Maike Jacobs, Markus Schultze, Shereen Adam and Milda Tubelyte - as well as one or two surprises.
Josef Ziga, founder and concertmaster, emphasizes: "For us, music is more than just sound - it is encounter and friendship. This anniversary concert is a thank you to our audience, who have been with us for many years, and at the same time an invitation to anyone who would like to rediscover us."
