Through joint appearances and collaborations with artists such as James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Sting, Van Morrison and Melissa Etheridge, Mick Jagger and Damian Marley, Joss Stone has always demonstrated stylistic openness, which applies even more so to her own songs. Her albums are a successful mix of different influences that fuse her powerful soul voice with reggae, world music and hip-hop soundscapes.
