Millennium is an a cappella ensemble from Dresden that blurs and transcends musical boundaries. The singers - all born in the millennium year 2000 - received nine years of intensive musical training in the Dresdner Kreuzchor and gained impressive concert experience through numerous performances at home and abroad. Their mature, homogeneous sound, their charismatic and dynamic appearance and their long-standing friendship characterize their unmistakable ensemble character.

With a repertoire that ranges from medieval vocal music to works from different eras and self-arranged pop music from the 20th and 21st centuries, Millennium builds bridges between styles and eras. The ensemble has already wowed audiences at festivals such as the Schwarzenberger Musiksommer and the Grüner Nacht Ansbach and reached the final of the a cappella award Ulm in 2025.

In 2026, Millennium celebrates its tenth anniversary - and this anniversary begins with an extraordinary highlight: a major double concert together with Eddi Hüneke, founding member of the Wise Guys. Two musical worlds come together that complement each other perfectly: the vocal precision and stylistic versatility of Millennium and the mixture of humor, depth and musical lightness that has characterized Eddi Hüneke for decades.

Eddi, who today also works as an author, speaker and coach alongside his music career, presents his new program Atempause in this anniversary double concert - an evening that gives you space to take a deep breath. Between the flood of news, deadline pressure and constant pressure to perform, he invites us to look at the world and ourselves with a more loving eye with songs such as "Take time for yourself", "Please don't give up" and "Cowboys against AI". His music is combined with personal insights, touching stories and a multimedia concert experience of sound, light and words.

The encounter between Millennium and Eddi Hüneke creates an anniversary evening that combines extraordinary vocal art with inspiring songwriting: a double concert that inspires, touches and gives new energy.
