Jüdische Woche in Leipzig 2026

From June 21 to June 28, 2026, Leipzig will celebrate the 17th Jewish Week, organized by the City of Leipzig’s Cultural Office in collaboration with the Ariowitsch-Haus e. V. Cultural and Community Center. This year, it is part ofthe Jewish Culture Theme Year “Tacheles. Jewish – Saxon – Human,” which is taking place in Leipzig and throughout Saxony.

Jewish Week presents a diverse program with over 130 events—ranging from concerts, readings, and films to exhibitions, conversations with eyewitnesses, theater, and numerous other formats. English- and Russian-language events also enrich the program and warmly welcome international guests. Family-friendly events, which are also suitable for young children, invite visitors of all ages to join in the celebration.
