In the organizer's words:

"Go with the times, but come back from time to time," the Polish aphorist Jerzy Lec urges us. A picture, a piece of jewelry, a sound recording, a figure from the Galette des rois or a memento inconspicuous to everyone else: they remind us of the past, sometimes razor-sharp, sometimes faded and unclear. Barbara Barberon-Zimmermann (arabesques), Nathalie L. Brochard (arabesques / Les Français du Monde) and Iwona Liberek (JazzDayGermany) once again invite the audience to bring memories and stories with them to tell of German-French and German-Polish border experiences. Those who just want to listen are also very welcome. Image and sound contributions can be prepared with the moderators after registration. As part of arabesques - Franco-German Cultural Festival
