Music-theatrical performance full of surprises

Together with singers, the junge norddeutsche philharmonie invites you to an evening full of surprises, exploring the scope between symphonic concert, chamber music moments, opera and recital.

The junge norddeutsche philharmonie was founded to provide decisive impetus for the development of future concert formats with unconventional but always authentic projects. It was already a guest at STADEUM in 2021 - in the middle of the pandemic - with the touching format of 1:1 concerts and is now venturing into a scenic, music-theatrical performance.

The junge norddeutsche philharmonie is an orchestra network in which students from all over Germany come together several times a year for various project phases. The orchestra sees itself as a catalyst for young ideas and the support of new initiatives to strengthen the broad music scene in northern Germany. The network was awarded the title of "Landmark in the Land of Ideas" in 2017, nominated for the BKM Prize for Cultural Education in 2018 and awarded the Würth Prize of Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland in 2020.

It is under the patronage of former Federal President Joachim Gauck.
