Morgenland Academy Closing Concert

After an intensive week of musical encounters, the young musicians of the 10th Morgenland Academy will present the results of their collaborative work this evening. Under the guidance of renowned artists Nemat Battah (oud, vocals), Mahan Mirarab (multi-neck guitar), and Bernhard Schimpelsberger (percussion), participants from Germany and Greece have created new soundscapes and improvised together.

The works to be heard this evening were developed over the course of the academy through creative exchange and spontaneous collaboration. They combine the diversity of Arab and Persian musical traditions with fresh musical ideas. Join us in celebrating the conclusion of this special musical journey.
