JÜRGEN ATTIG & EKLECTRON

Hamburg bassist Jürgen Attig is a musician who consistently moves beyond fixed genre boundaries. Stations such as free jazz with Gunter Hampel, pop with Felix de Luxe, house with Mousse T. or jazz manouche with Biréli Lagrène mark a musical biography that is characterized by stylistic openness and curiosity.

With eklecTron, Attig is now creating a new musical playing field: a project in which the tonal and rhythmic diversity of electric jazz is combined with freely designed ambience and elements of neo soul - unorthodox, open and contemporary. For this project, he has invited a number of highly talented young musicians whose individual voices shape the sound of eklecTron.
