Experience the ice-cold inferno when the Finns of As The Sun Falls return to Augsburg after exactly one year and end their "Kaamos" album release tour in the Ballonfabrik with a bang!
"Kaamos" is Finnish for polar nights, a rare phenomenon that is only visible in the northern hemisphere, where the sun never rises and the horizon glows in cold shades of purple and blue. This is exactly what the music of As The Sun Falls reflects - pure cold, winter, hopelessness and melancholy of the Finnish soul.
The band around founder and guitarist Jani Mikkänen, Lauri Unkila (guitar), Oskar Englund (bass), Paul Rytkönen (drums) and new singer Joni Hakulinen have been able to gradually increase their fan base over the last few years through energetic shows and the finest and original Finnish melodic death metal.
The Finns will be supported by Stuttgart-based melodic death/black metallers Halls of Oblivion, who released their highly acclaimed album "Eighteen Hundred And Froze To Death" last year via Apostasy Records, making it one of the best German genre releases of recent years according to many experts. As in the previous year, local heroes Fracture will also be performing, having already put on a memorable gig at the Ballonfabrik a year ago together with As The Sun Falls.
