The world is a madhouse and surely the great days of a refreshingly irreverent cabaret should begin now? Trump is giving us surprises non-stop. Can we still keep up or is this overkill for political cabaret? Admittedly, democracy has seen better times and there is plenty of pessimism on offer at the moment. Even the Rhinelander no longer finds his credo so easy to say: Et kütt wie et kütt. Et hätt noch emmer joot jejange.
