An event by Alma Hoppes Lustspielhaus and the Theatergemeinde Hamburg
Hosted by Jan-Peter Petersen.
Cabaret and comedy - what's the difference? Is it even possible to draw a clear line, or are the transitions fluid?
In order to find out, we - together with the Theatergemeinde Hamburg - have invited two top-class representatives of each of these two art forms and are looking forward to this very special evening!
Katie Freudenschuss - cabaret, comedy, music, improvisation
A woman, a grand piano and fine powers of observation.
Anyone who has ever seen the award-winning entertainer live on stage knows that her evenings are always a varied mix of cabaret, her own songs, stand-up and great improvisations. Courageous, emotional and with an open mind.
With great musical variety, she knows how to put big and small encounters and events into words or compositions.
Touching and funny, melancholy and wicked.
Ingmar Stadelmann - From little Ossi boy to bitterly wicked big city satirist
Stadelmann belongs to the select circle of a handful of comedians who were allowed to bid farewell to Thomas Hermanns live in front of a large audience and was ennobled by Atze Schröder in the introductory speech with the sentence: "For me, the best stand-up comedian we have."
Over the past 10 years, Ingmar Stadelmann, who was born in East Germany and lives in Berlin, has enjoyed a string of successes: From the German Comedy Award and numerous cabaret prizes, from acclaimed radio formats to entertainment shows for ProSieben to his own late-night "Abendshow" for rbb.
He also tours Germany incessantly with his solo programs and delights his audiences. "Highly topical, highly explosive and highly intelligent!" (Solinger Tageblatt)
Nessi Tausendschön - a real top dog on the German cabaret scene
For 30 years, Nessi Tausendschön has been impossible to bomb off the stage. 30 years of sophisticatedly cultivated shabbiness, smooth big and small art, amazing dance, melancholic crushing poetry and beautiful music.
When Nessi celebrates the fractures of life, then even the soul-blind in the audience awaken from their distanced torpor, then the boundaries between inner, remembered emotional reality and outer, physical presence, between public and private, even intimate, become blurred and not a dry eye is left in the house.
In short: as a cabaret artist, Nessi has a tongue like a horsewhip, but as a singer she has a voice like an angel. A wonderful combination.
David Kebekus - American-style stand-up
Things that David finds outstanding are special and sometimes very delicate. But presented from a perspective that makes you laugh.
Handmade material, developed on open mics, polished and filled with self-irony and passion. The purest form of entertainment.
One mic and many personal stories.
Let yourself be entertained first and then think about it again at home.
