Radical, clever, complex. Pop artist Kabeaushé 's performance is a great game full of relish. The singer, rapper and producer creates a positively overwhelming and absolutely captivating maelstrom of styles and references. From his home in Nairobi to his current home in Berlin. From French baroque music, soundtracks and rock to hip-hop and pop.

Everything together is irritating and at the same time makes sense when he allows the most diverse influences from music, film and painting to escalate in his extravagant pop-cultural Gesamtkunstwerk. "It should bite your ears a little," says Kabeaushé. Warm-hearted in conversation, thoroughly angry on stage.

He explores ideas of beauty, pain and identity as far as possible. A hyper-creative powerhouse that stretches boundaries just as much as the title of his new second album "KABEAUSHÉ PRESENTS: IGGY SWAGGERING UNGRATEFUL INCESSANT LITTLE PEEEAAAAAAA".

The single "I DON'T NEED YOU, SO YOU COULD TELL ME IF I'M GUD" is the first herald of the album and the start of a video cycle that tells Iggy's story in the intense style of black and white silent films. Kabeaushé is a huge film fan and can tell extremely inspiring stories about how the German cinema of the 1920s and 30s inspired him. Works such as "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" or "Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler".

"They created absolutely fascinating art on a small budget - from the fonts to the color scheme.

Kabeaushé adds his very own twist to this aesthetic. His backdrops appear sharp-edged, imposing and fragile at the same time. Iggy gives an exalted speech in front of the Doerf Kingdom flag. In a fantasy uniform adorned with an absurd number of medals. His teeth bared in a smile, his gestures expansive, his blonde pageboy head glowing. The handclaps in the song seem as if Iggy is applauding himself.
