What a voice and what energy this charismatic singer and pianist from Estonia radiates. Her enormous spectrum ranges from acoustic folk-pop, R&B and electro to vocal jazz and onomatopoeic improvisation. But the real Kadri Voorand is to be found in a duo with Mihkel Mälgand, a sought-after bassist who has played with Nils Landgren, Dave Liebman and Kurt Elling. As a duo, they passionately create a large-scale sound painting.
