After more than 100,000 views on YouTube and a total of 60,000+ cross-platform streams, KAISA RYA is tailoring a completely new genre to her body on the way to her next EP: with her first single "Kaisa's Neue Kleider", she has not only reinvented herself musically, but also made a statement live: She changes her outfits several times during the song - a symbol of change, identity and the courage to break new ground. And a masterpiece of clothing layering. With over 7,000 Spotify streams, the single is already off to a promising start. At the same time, Kaisa Rya is already busy with the next cuts: Together with Dominican guitarist and producer Elvin Rodriguez, the solo project has become a duo. Elvin, who came to Germany especially for his music master's degree, brings the Caribbean to Hamburg with his Latin grooves and arrangements. Together they create a new world of sound: Latin-German pop - a fusion of pulsating rhythms, honest lyrics and catchy melodies. And Kaisa? She remains versatile not only vocally, but also instrumentally. Whether bass, trombone or saxophone - she plays various instruments herself live and makes every performance unique. The Drachis, as Kaisa affectionately calls her community, are in for a treat: After "Kaisa's Neue Kleider", the third single "Passionsfrucht" will follow on April 4, in which Kaisa Rya points out immature male behavior in a humorous and socially critical way. This new musical beginning is not least a courageous but also promising development of a newcomer talent who originally came from a completely different direction. As the Hamburger Abendblatt put it: "In her songs "Ego" & "Lips", Kaisa Rya takes an even more dazzling approach with expressive hyper-pop gems that are reminiscent of Dua Lipa."
