Come and play your music in the Kakadu Bar!

You will have a backline with guitar amplifier, bass and bass amp, stage piano, vocal mics, inputs for acoustic guitars and a small drum and percussion set at your disposal. You bring your own guitar and other instruments.

Whether it's a cover, your own song or a spontaneous jam - there are no restrictions.
It is not a song contest, there is no voting - we play and sing for and with each other.
Intimate songwriter performances should be just as possible as hip hop or funky pop jams - just right for a bar.

If you would like to perform, please contact the hosts in advance at kakadusession@staatstheater-mainz.de or on the evening itself.
They will coordinate the schedule and mediate between the musicians if necessary.
Remember to bring lyric sheets so that you can spontaneously get together for a joint performance.
